Nestled beside the Fraser River, is the charming village of Fort Langley. Established in the 1800’s, this quaint town was initially home to a fur trading post for the Hudson’s Bay Company. Often considered to being situated in a rural area, it is just 10 kilometers from the heart of Langley. Driving down Glover Road, you will notice that the village has preserved its heritage look and feel. Many of Fort Langley’s historic buildings have been restored and any new ones that have gone up, also follow the heritage suit.

Fun fact: The village has been a film location for a number of TV shows and movies. For all of you Riverdale fans, you will notice that the Fort Langley Community Hall is transformed into the Riverdale Town Hall in the show.
